Cote d’Ivoire Opens Consulate General in Laayoune

The Republic of Cote d’Ivoire opened, on Tuesday, a consulate general in Laayoune.
The opening ceremony of the consulate was chaired by minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and Cote d’Ivoire’s minister of African Integration and Ivorians Abroad, Ally Coulibaly.

This is the fifth diplomatic representation inaugurated in Laayoune, following the consulate general of the Union of the Comoros, opened in December, and the consulates general of Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe and the Central African Republic, opened in January.
