Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Chairwoman of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environment Protection, received on Monday in Tokyo several Japanese women leaders.
At a reception hosted in their honor by Princess Lalla Hasnaa, these women paid tribute to Her Royal Highness’s leadership in the areas of environmental protection and youth education.
This reception, offered by Princess Lalla Hasnaa on the occasion of Her Royal Highness’s visit to Japan, was an opportunity for these women to tell their personal experiences.
This delegation of female Japanese leaders received by Princess Lalla Hasnaa includes Masami Saionji, Chairperson of the Goi Peace Foundation for Peace and of the World Peace Prayer Society, Wakako Hironaka, former Minister of the Environment, Chairperson of the Earth Water & Green Foundation and member of the Earth Charter Initiative, Tomoyo Nonaka, Ambassador of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, Maki Saionji, Executive Director of the Goi Peace Foundation and Miyuki Hatoyama, wife of former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama.
The delegation also includes Yoshiko Mitsui, Chairperson of the Special Olympics Nippon Foundation, Rika Saionji, Vice President of the World Peace Prayer Society, Fujiko Hara, Interpreter and managing director of the Ozaki Yukio Memorial Foundation, Minako Imada, a pioneer in the art of etiquette and table setting, Izumi Masukawa, PhD in nutrition and bioelectronics, Yuka Salonji, Deputy Chairperson of the Byakko Shinko Kai Foundation, and Suzue Miuchi, creator of the famous manga series “Glass Mask”.
