Princess Lalla Hasnaa said, in this sense, that women, who are at the heart of issues related to climate, the protection of the oceans and the development of clean energy, can bring a unique perspective and action steps original and effective, which make them actors of change, of first importance.

His Royal Highness, on this occasion, expressed his full support for the values ​​of the Women’s Forum and praised the action and the struggles of its members to listen to the words of women, promote their leadership and achieve inclusive development. our societies.

Princess Lalla Hasnaa has also affirmed that “the Kingdom is today engaged in promising and unprecedented projects for the development of clean energies, protection of the coastline and safeguarding fragile ecosystems, particularly oases”.

“In Morocco, we have the chance to build a legal and institutional framework, more and more favorable to the environmental cause,” continued Princess Lalla Hasnaa, stressing that “thanks to the will of His Majesty the King, the Constitution of 2011 dedicated the right to a healthy environment and sustainable development “.

“Morocco has also adopted an advanced National Charter in these areas, and citizens’ interest in the climate issue is steadily growing, especially since the Moroccan presidency of the COP22 in Marrakech in 2016,” he said. she supported.

Princess Lalla Hasnaa also noted that her commitment to the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment is a commitment of heart, a commitment of mother who accompanies, awakens, educates and educates.

Princess Lalla Hasnaa also affirmed that she leads, through the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, a work of education and awareness, serving sustainable development and with children and young people as a priority target. .
