HM King Mohammed VI will take part on Sunday in Brazzaville in the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Climate Commission and the Blue Fund for the Congo Basin and will pay a working and friendship visit to the Republic of Congo, the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced in a statement.
This commission was set up on the initiative of HM the King at the Africa Action Summit, held in Marrakech in November 2016 on the sidelines of the 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 22) to the UNFCCC, the source pointed out.
The Sovereign will also pay a working and friendship visit to the Republic of the Congo, during which he will have bilateral talks with President of the Republic of Congo, H.E. Denis Sassou-Nguesso.
HM the King will also chair the signing-ceremony of several agreements between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Congo, the source added.
