HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa Represents HM the King in Inauguration Ceremony of Qatar National Library

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa represented HM King Mohammed VI on Monday in Doha in the official inauguration ceremony of Qatar National Library (QNL), which was chaired by Emir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, in the presence of several personalities.
Upon her arrival at the QNL, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa was welcomed by HH Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.

Afterwards, Her Royal Highness toured the different sections of the library before attending a dinner hosted by the Emir of Qatar in honor of the present delegations and personalities.

Speaking on this occasion, HH Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, voiced the hope to see QNL contributing into promoting the Arabic language and the Arab heritage.

Designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas on an area of 45,000 m2, QNL is aimed at spreading knowledge, nurturing imagination and cultivating creativity, by creating and sustaining an intuitive and trusted information environment in a culturally and technologically superior setting.
